Hey, can’t a guy have a life and wonder about the best horror movies of all time? I’m wondering whether one of my favorites, John Carpenter’s The Thing, will make the list. I see that another classic, Evil Dead 2, already did.
Heh, heh,…I’m still trying to answer that question. I was surprised– if not a little nonplussed– at the omission of Carpenter’s The Thing. The Thing was a fabulously gripping and terrifically paced remake of the original. It was a great lesson on the weaving of a truly eerie and effective soundtrack with the visual sights.
