Spliced In Production?

I am offering this on an occasional basis and I need your help. Here’s why.

The Dilemma

In the delectable spirit of Spy Magazine’s fabulously clever Separated At Birth? book series of the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, (where they paired look-alike pictures of two and sometimes three different well-known public figures), I shall periodically offer my movie-dipped version here.

There are times when I see an actor, actress, director, producer, etc., for the first time or the umpteenth time in a new angle and I’m gnawed with the feeling that I’ve seen them somewhere before. I remain convinced that some monstrosity crept away from underneath the celluloid remnants in the cutting room floor, fused together, (unbeknownst) by the technical prowess of the editorial team. The result? Mutants, mavens and marvels melding together with the larger global culture begging to be exposed for who they are.

The Task

You’ve seen the similarities and you’ve wondered; now, it’s time for you to submit your discoveries to me for posting and secure your service to the rest of society. Have a favorite movie star or director? Nailed down a favorite picture of them? Get the unnerving feeling that you know who they look like (best if it’s someone/something the rest of us would be familiar with)?

Find the picture and lemme have it and I’ll post it here and caption it (or you can). It helps to have them in similar expressions, same-sized cropping, side-by-side and hopefully looking in the same direction. It seems like a daunting task, but before long, these beasties will come oozing out of the crevices and recesses once you start looking.
