The Changing of the Guard

Howdy everyone!

Due to the sudden and mysterious departure of the original MovieMaven, I, Movie_Maven (and please take notice of the slightly altered moniker) have joyfully agreed to maintain this site and to inject my own personality (personalities?) into the world of all things MOVIE. (I am, however, slightly worried as to what really happened to MovieMaven, but will try not to think on that one longer than is absolutely necessary. Any pertinent information would be greatly appreciated.)

That said, I will extend to you, dear readers, the opportunity to request what you would like to see on this site. In the absence of any direction, therefore, I plan on offering completely biased movie reviews, interesting news surrounding cinematic personalities, and offering an ongoing list of newly-released DVDs for your home viewing enjoyment. Furthermore, I have quite the diverse taste in cinema, from independent small budget flicks to studio megahits to off-color cultish obscure films; so, hopefully, there will be a little something to satisfy every movie buff’s sweet tooth.
