Of course I HAD to see the 5th installment of the ‘Saw’ films as soon as I could (Sunday evening) and then saw it again (pun intended) Tuesday afternoon with Movie_Maven_Jr.

“W” - directed by Oliver Stone and starring Josh Brolin as George W. Bush during his rise to the presidency. Experts say that Stone is the “perfect choice to bring this biopic to life.”

After rereading our earlier post on Miss Congeniality, Movie_Maven_Jr. wanted to collaborate, once again, on another blog, so after carefully perusing our extensive movie collection, we agreed upon the “Final Destination” trilogy (soon to be a…um…fourlogy? with the 4th installment due 21 August 2009.)

Mr_Movie_Maven and I treated ourselves to a matinee, sans children, this afternoon with some spare change we found in the sofa. We compromised on “Eagle Eye”, starring Shia LeBeouf, Michelle Monaghan, Billy Bob Thornton (who really needs to do something about his oversized teeth), and Rosario Dawson, and directed by D.J. Caruso (of “Disturbia” fame.)
