“W” - directed by Oliver Stone and starring Josh Brolin as George W. Bush during his rise to the presidency. Experts say that Stone is the “perfect choice to bring this biopic to life.” “Quarantine” - I jumped in the preview…my kind of movie. “Body of Lies” - starring Russell Crowe and Leonardo di Caprio, directed by Ridley Scott (seemingly Crowe’s personal director of late) in yet another al-Qaeda terrorist war flick; however, if Crowe is in it, I see it (and buy it…I have every single Russell Crowe film ever made thus far!) “The Express” - another passion of mine: football. This biopic of Ernie Davis, starring Dennis Quaid, Clancy Brown and Rob Brown is getting high marks from the guys at NFL.com and ESPN and that’s good enough for me. “Max Payne” with Mark Wahlberg might be interesting (Mr_Movie_Maven is high on that one). As much as I’m not a big Angelina Jolie fan, Clint Eastwood’s “The Changeling” looks very intriguing and Eastwood is usually in top form behind the camera. “Saw V” - Hello, I’m Movie_Maven and I’m a Saw-a-holic. And if Movie_Maven_Jr is good, I’ll take her with. “Pride and Glory” - Two words: Edward Norton. Comments |
