Watch your sodium intake!~~ Review of ‘Salt’ (2006)

I rented this little gem of a movie last week, written, directed, produced and starring Bradford Tatum, and co-starring his wife Stacy Haiduk, Alexandra Wilson, and Judith Hoag.

The plot revolves around an abusive husband, his seemingly “simple” wife, and the problems in their relationship. Enter his sister, who develops a relationship with the wife. Now toss in some more adultery and the ultimate revenge, and you have a darkly comedic, intriguing, and entertaining film. Even Mr_Movie_Maven, who isn’t as into non-action films as I am was pleasantly surprised.

The acting wasn’t Oscar-worthy, by any stretch of the imagination, and the revenge plot has been used to excess; however, the script was above average, funny, and darkly erotic, and all of the elements combined well.
